*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Safely driving a propane bobtail delivery vehicle to and from customer locations, driving forward and backward using side mirrors
* Professionally interact and engage customers at their place of residence or business
* Safely and courteously refill customer leased tanks and move propane hoses through out property
* Operate in a safe manner to reduce the risk of injuries and property damage
* Properly, accurately and timely record and process customer transactions
* Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and D.O.T. regulations
* Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth by manager
*Requirements:*
* Must hold a valid commercial driver’s license A or B with hazmat, tanker& airbrake endorsements
* Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical & background check
* Must possess excellent customer service skills
* Must abide by all traffic laws and safety regulations
* Must have ability to pull heavy hose over uneven and adverse ground conditions
* Must have ability to be on call on evenings and weekends
* Additional overtime hours as required to meet customer needs
* Must follow state codes and regulations as well as company procedures
* Must be willing to drive and work outdoors in various weather conditions, including snow, ice and rain
* Must be ab le to stand for at least 2 consecutive hours and be able to walk frequently. Talking, hearing, reaching and bending may be frequent.
* Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
