CDL Class A Driver

*Class A CDL Driver - Full-Time*

Garden Isle Courier is currently seeking to fill a full-time Class-A driver position.

Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a tractor-trailer, flatbed, or tanker
- Load and unload cargo using forklift or other equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs if necessary
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation regulations

Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Experience driving various types of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, or roll-off trucks
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to load and unload cargo using forklift or other equipment
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for minor maintenance and troubleshooting
