*Basic Purpose*
FreeBird Chicken is seeking a reliable, safety-minded *CDL Class A Dressed Transportation Driver* to transport finished poultry products from our processing facility to customer distribution centers. This is a *regional, home-daily driving position* — *not over-the-road (OTR)* — ideal for experienced drivers seeking a consistent schedule, competitive compensation, and the ability to be home every day.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Pick up loaded trailers from the processing plant
* Deliver freight to customer sites and distribution centers
* Assist with unloading and pallet breakdowns as needed
* Return empty trailers to the facility and perform equipment inspections
* Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of tractor and trailer
* Complete all DOT-required logs, pre-/post-trip inspections, and documentation
* Operate safely and in compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations
* Communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely, efficient delivery
*Minimum Qualifications*
* Valid *CDL Class A* license
* One (1) year of commercial driving experience preferred
* Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
* Familiarity with ELD systems and DOT Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in cold or outdoor environments
* Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to safety protocols

* *Compensation Structure Includes:*
* *Estimated earnings potential:* $70,000 to $95,000+ annually based on assigned runs
