HBI is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our underground utility construction team!

*What You’ll Do*
* Operate equipment such as backhoes, mini-excavators, trenchers, plows, and bore rigs
* Perform excavation, trenching, and cable placement per project plans
* Read blueprints and coordinate with the foreman
* Work safely around existing utilities
* Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
* Restore job sites and secure equipment daily
* Transport equipment when holding a valid CDL
* Travel to jobsites, including out of state
*What We’re Looking For*
* Minimum 2 years of utility construction or related experience
* Valid driver’s license; *CDL preferred* (Medical Card required if applicable)
* Ability to read blueprints
* *Strong communication skills and safety mindset*
* Ability to work independently in changing job conditions
* Must be 18 years or older
