Local transportation company has an opening for a qualified CDL Class A or B driver to assist in Transporting vehicles to Auction. This driver must have a clean driving record. All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug screening and FMCSA regulations.
Please be advised that you must be able to work shift work and must be able to pass pre-employment drug screenings and random testing. This position pays on a per car basis, so the more you transport, the more you make.
*YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION*.
*Expectations of a Transport Driver*:
* Complete Pre trip & Post trip inspection daily prior to loading the vehicle.
* Verify the VIN numbers of all transport orders prior to loading the vehicle.
* Load/unload units per International Recovery Systems standards and safety guidelines
* Deliver units on time to various local auctions. Deliveries are time sensitive and must be delivered when scheduled to remain in compliance.
* Communicate with Transport Coordinator if any delivery issues arise
* Report any issues with the vehicle that would prevent a delivery from being on time to the Transport Coordinator.
* Complete all paperwork once delivery is complete to remain in compliance.
*Requirements of a Transport Driver: *
* Valid CDL B license
* Minimum 3 years of verifiable vehicle transport experience
* Must be 23 years or older due to insurance requirements
* Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Daytime hours, start time may vary due to auction hours.
* Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
* Comfortable operating independently and navigating urban, suburban, and rural environments

* Previous transport or logistics experience
* Ability to work in a time sensitive delivery environment.
* Strong attention to detail when verifying VINs and recovery paperwork
* Proficient with laptops/iPad
