Service Center Metals (SCM) is seeking an *experienced CDL Truck Driver* for our state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion and billet facility located in Prince George, VA. This position will be based in *Truck Driver – Lafayette, Indiana* This position involves delivering material using a company tractor-trailer as an over the road/line haul driver.
*Starting at $85,000* + annual compensation PLUS BENEFITS, SAFETY BONUSES AND OTHER INCENTIVES. *You will be supplied with* brand new equipment. SCM values our truck drivers, and we believe in a work/life balance offering minimal overnights during the week and home on the weekends. We give our truck drivers the stability of working for a company but driving as an independent.

*Candidate requirements:*
* Class A CDL or commercial driver's license
* Minimum of two (2) years driving experience involving tractor-trailer/flatbed
* Monday – Friday, home 1 night a week and home on weekends
* Must have clean driving record
* Understanding of DOT safety standards
* Be dependable and accountable
*Skills/Abilities:*
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
* Self-directed and motivated
* Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to use fork truck or pallet jack a plus
