About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Truck Driver with a valid medical card to support local operations in Blacksburg, Virginia. This on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $20 per hour plus overtime
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Temp to perm
• Start date: September 8, 2026
• Route schedule: Local routes with daily home time

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned equipment on local routes.
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform required touch-freight handling tasks.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Meet the physical demands of the position.

Minimum Requirements

• Non-CDL driver’s license with a valid medical card.
• Real ID driver’s license.
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
