Harter's Lakeside Disposal is a family owned, multi-generation, and growing company. We currently have an opportunity for a Class B CDL Route driver. We seek drivers who are able to work in a fast-paced environment. Driver's are home every afternoon with very competitive compensation packages.
Job Summary: Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on various commercial, and residential routes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.
* Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.
* Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
* Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
* Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.
Qualifications :
* Commercial Drivers License B (CDL) with air-brake endorsement.
* Must be 21+ years of age.
* Eligible to legally work in the United States.
* Acceptable driving record required.
