Rising Sun Express is a 48-state dry van truckload carrier operating its one terminal since 1984 in Jackson Center, Ohio with 50 trucks and 100 dry van trailers. Safety is a priority with on-line training, in-person meetings, newsletters, company memos and one-on-one discussions. Rising Sun Express’s safety score puts them at the top 10% of their peers.

Open communication with peers, supervisors and top management is also important part of the overall team at Rising Sun Express. Rising Sun Express employs 60 people including drivers, garage personnel and office staff. Each dispatcher has experience at utilizing drivers to their fullest within the hours of service guidelines. More than half of the drivers and support staff have been with the company for more than five years and several have as long as 30 years.

Many customers of Rising Sun Express are long-term relationships. Professional and 99.5% dependable on-time service keep these customers satisfied year after year. With many variables beyond our control such as, weather, traffic delays and customer load changes, it is important to manage everything within our control as best as we can. The team (and it takes everyone) works very well together at keeping the drivers and the equipment ready to roll.

_*Regional CDL Truck Driver Routes*_

The routes for a Regional CDL Truck Driver at Rising Sun Express consist of two runs a week to and from West-Central Ohio area to various points within a radius of 600 to 800 miles. Plus, local runs are available as hours and timing allows to supplement the regional lanes.

· Areas frequently travelled are the South-East, South, and Mid-West.

· No North-east. No West-Coast.

· 95% no touch, in-frequent driver assist

· Company issued fuel card

· Monthly on-the-road Blue Beacon truck washing permitted

_*Regional CDL Truck Driver Equipment*_

Drivers joining the Rising Sun team will be assigned a Freightliner Cascadia with an automatic transmission. Trailers are updated each year with new and disposing of trailers older than ten years of age. We have a full service garage with an aggressive preventative maintenance program at the Jackson Center location to keeping the equipment well maintained and rolling. Trucks are assigned to a driver with no slip seating. Trucks are equipped with the following:

· eRoad ELD for logs, communication and location

· Rand McNally Truck Route Navigation

· PrePass to bypass scales, EZ Pass for tolls

· Refrigerator and Inverter

· SiriusXM radio All-access paid by company

_*Regional CDL Truck Driver Pay and Benefits*_

· Average weekly pay of $1,600 or $75,000 annually, weekly Direct Deposit with online portal to view pay information or update information

· Valid Class A CDL license

· 1 year driving experience

· Current medical card

· Acceptable driving record

· Pass a DOT drug screen and background check
