*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator and/or Company Driver to join our team. Local and regional positions available. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in truck driving, take pride in their job and equipment, have a clean mvr, be able to pass a drug test, and have experience with hauling steel tubing, coils, plates and various other flatbed freight. Or experience with end dump. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service while delivering goods to designated locations.
*Responsibilities*
* Operate and drive tractor trailer with conestoga flatbed or end dump.
* Perform route driving to deliver products efficiently and on time.
* Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in steel flatbed trucking or end dump, with a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
* Be able to drive MANUAL transmission.
* Experience in route driving and knowledge of local roads.
* Ability to load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
* Commitment to providing exceptional customer service during deliveries.
* Commitment to truck and trailer maintenance and appearance.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
