Do you have a Class A CDL and an impeccable safety record? Astrom Transportation Inc. is immediately hiring Class A CDL - FedEx Ground Truck Drivers! We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to handle unassigned, FedEx Ground runs from the New Haven area safely and efficiently!

*Solo Driving*

*AVAILABLE RUN 1 (MOST PREFERRED) :*

* Require 1 Solo Driver
* Sunday - Friday
* Dispatch: 3:30 PM
* Approx. 2,365 miles/week
* $1,900/week
* Minimum 0.78 CPM
* Saturday Off

*AVAILABLE RUN 2 :*

* Require 2 Solo Drivers
* Sunday - Friday
* Dispatch: 9:30 PM
* Approx. 1,710 miles/week
* $1,350/week
* Minimum 0.78 CPM
* Saturday Off

*Requirements :*

* Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
* Must possess one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience in the last three years.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Clean Motor Vehicle Record- No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years.
* Must have or be ready to attain a doubles/triples endorsement.
* Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
* Complete Background Check, MVR Screening, login to Clearinghouse, and take a Drug Test.

*Responsibilities :*

* Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable).
* Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
* Drop & Hook Only.
* No-touch Freight!
* Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
* Maintain accurate daily logs.
* Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required.
* Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
* Perform other duties as required.
