Job Title: Low Boy Driver - Hampton Roads Major Role and Purpose: Drives truck for transporting construction material and heavy construction equipment. May have various kinds of beds attached, such as dump, flat bed, semi-trailer or trailer. Description of Duties: Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. Load heavy construction equipment/material to and from jobs. Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements and adhere to same. Pre and post trip inspections. Maintain daily log.
